World Research Group (www.worldrg.com), a premier producer of executive-level business-to-business conferences is seeking entrepreneurial individuals with the capacity to identify and research leading edge, business-to-business, commercial issues and develop strategic conferences for targeted audiences.
As a Conference Director you will focus on the creation of issue oriented conferences. Responsibilities include in-depth phone research, market analysis, content development, identifying and recruiting speakers, writing marketing material and on-site event management. Experience in the healthcare, finance or energy industries is a plus. If you are business savvy, can identify industry trends and issues, and are able to deal with high level industry leaders, consider joining our team.
The office culture prioritizes both working independently and with a team, and everyone is passionate about achieving success. If you are the type that can take a solid idea and run with it (and not be micro-managed) this is the job for you.
You must have a four year college degree, business experience and superb communication skills. You must also be deadline driven, and able to travel 4 days per month. Our conferences are located in Orlando, Las Vegas, San Diego, Washington, DC, Chicago, Boston and NYC.
